| Reiki is a vibrational healing practice that engages your bodies self healing and balance. Reiki is recommended for ongoing health maintenance, it promotes strong health & prevents illness. Cancer patients claim that reiki has helped with pain management, relaxation, and side effects of treatment like nausea and stomach upset. Reiki is a safe, gentle, non-invasive healing technique. It complements any medical treatment by stimulating the body's own natural healing process. Reiki has no bad side effects, it reduces stress, pain, and promotes deep relaxation. Reiki is performed by using a series of hand positions placed on or close to the body. Reiki is given while the patient is fully clothed and lying comfortably on a massage table. Since it is so adaptable, Reiki can also be given in any setting, in a chair or hospital bed. |
